Using plastic bags is harmful not only for humanity but also for the animal kingdom. In fact, our neglect of today will affect our tomorrow. In the section below, you will get the disadvantages of using plastic bags:

• General environmental damage
• Threat to humanity and animal life
• The air pollution
• Water Pollution
• Asphyxia
It is often said that non-woven covers in UAE are biodegradable. This is INCORRECT in most cases.
There are different types of non-woven fabric and each type of non-woven fabric can be made from different types of fibers. The type of fiber determines whether a nonwoven material is biodegradable or not.
In most cases (more than 90% as of 2012), "non-woven shopping bags" are made of polypropylene. Non-woven tote bags in UAE fabric and polypropylene is the type of fiber. Polypropylene is NOT biodegradable.
Spunbond can be produced with biodegradable fibers, but to date it is a small market because biodegradable fibers are more than twice as expensive as polypropylene.
- It is said that non-woven bags are recyclable. This is TRUE, but the old disposable plastic bags are also recyclable: they are made with a polyethylene film; and polyethylene is recyclable. The problem is the cost of recycling. But the cost of recycling is almost the same for disposable bags and non-woven bags.
- It is almost always said that non-woven hotel products in UAE are ecological. Well, it's a very moot point.
Spunbond polypropylene shopping bags do no more damage to the environment than disposable plastic bags. But being more environmentally friendly is very difficult to prove.
Non-woven shopping bags made from biodegradable fibers are a much better response and are much more environmentally friendly. By the way, disposable plastic bags can also be made with biodegradable plastic.

  1. Nice Post. I recently learnt that eco friendly products made from corn-starch, bagasse & cassava are bio-degradable, compostable & do not harm the environment in their entire life-cycle.

Varied Uses of Non-Woven Bags In UAE

Request For Free Demo: Mobile#:  +971559460606 Email:  sales@modbags.ae Non-Woven Bags in UAE paper can be recycled only three times. In addition, paper bags are not reusable, so, although they are ecological, you must continue to produce paper bags. Although ecological, since they can be recycled, they are actually made by cutting trees, which ends up threatening the quality of the planet's air. Woven bags can be another option to carry things as they are reusable and recyclable. However, they require more labor and consume more energy in the manufacturing process. This is the reason why the best batch option today seems to be non-woven shopping bags. These bags were manufactured for the first time in UAE using non-woven polypropylene (PP) that looks and feels like fabric and is soft, smooth and air permeable. However, since they do not need to be woven, they are a more economical and ecological option. Non-Woven Hotel Products in UAE fibers are...

A Great Idea: Reusable Non-Woven shopping bags in UAE

Request For Free Demo: Mobile#:  +971559460606 Email:  sales@modbags.ae While doing my biannual cleaning of the entrance to my house last week, I found a mountain of reusable bags. There were more than a dozen, tucked inside each one, marked with local business logos and events that I have attended in recent years. All these bags had been placed in the usual corner of 'grocery store tools', but because they are so compact, I had been using only the top four non-woven bags in UAE during the last year of purchases, oblivious to the rest. It's not that I can use them, even if I tried. Four bags, combined with my tray of hard plastic groceries, are enough for each shopping trip. Who needs 15 handbags, anyway? There lies a big problem. In our frantic hurry to get away from single-use disposable plastic bags, we have exceeded the production of bags. They are given as complementary gifts, or as a package of even more free gifts, by charities and reta...
